Vedic Chetna Shivirs

Vedic Chetna Shivirs are held annually to make our young learners aware of DAV as a rich culture which has spread its branches like a sprawling tree. This tree is rooted in the ancient yet modernly relevant Indian tradition, based on the vedic values of enthusiasm, truthfulness, empathy, respect, nobility, ardour and love of all that is creative, innovative and positive; that is born of the illustrious vedas and yet reaches out to the sky. Regular hawans, week long activities involving painting competitions,recitation of vedic shlokas singing of bhajans,presentations of the great lives of the honorable sages and stalwarts of the Arya Samaj and DAV and yoga- sessions mark the shivirs. These activities inculcate vedic values and ethics in our students making them capable of facing any challenges of life by adopting a healthy and well balanced life style.
