In school activities

Activities are that form of education that sends fresh air and life into something more gross in nature and make the affair of learning more fun filled, interesting, lighter, less burdensome and easier. No education is therefore wholesome without these breathers that polish up the raw and bring into focus the potential in the child that are otherwise undiscovered and unexplored. For the all round growth of the child’s personality the school has been made to indulge in a healthy competitive environment built in the form of four houses –
1.    Aravalli
2.    Himgiri
3.     Neelgiri
4.    Vindhyanchal.
The whole year round there are inter house competitions and house activities. The morning assembly is conducted by learners of each house for two consecutive weeks. House duties for maintaining the discipline and decorum of the school are distributed among the learners of the house in charge for the two weeks.
Vedic Chetna Shivir
Under this program a week full of activities and competitions were held in the school premises. There was a havan for the pre primary classes and musical and cultural activities for primary classes that included shlokas recitation and singing of bhajans. Our children participated enthusiastically. The Vedic Shivir propagated the message of redeeming mankind from the shackles of selfishness, slumber and apathy.

Nurturing the buds to blossom

In December 2010 the school gave an incentive to the budding talents of the school to blossom and flourish through a fancy dress competition that was held for the nursery wing. The event provided an opportunity to students to discover themselves in a new light and show their talents. Tiny tots enacted various characters and great personalities such as Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati and Shri Jawahar Lal Nehru .All the participants performed with a passion and enjoyed the event. The event also helped the students to feel and understand the various aspects of life of these personalities and its impact on other figures and thus on the society.

EDUCATIONAL TOURS
Excursions and Educational Trips enable us in always looking forward to providing hands - on experience to the child that takes education beyond the four walls as a child is more at ease with himself when he is not confined. Through these trips the child learns the art of becoming a meaningful part of his surroundings.

CONSUMER DAY
National consumer day was observed by the school on 24th December ’2010. With a quiz on the theme that involved participants from all the four houses. The event upheld the awareness amongst the children making them messengers of an alert consumership. Related posters that decorated the display boards at various locations of the school made for a suitable atmosphere for the event. A debate was also conducted on the topic
